An English Country Wedding Cinematography by Imperial Studio in Kent
Wedding Vidography London
Wedding Vidography London. The story Begins. After a two hour drive from North West London through lush English countryside. It seems like it’s just starting to show the first signs of bursting into spring. I arrived in north Kent for the wedding of Chloe and Trevor. Who were finally married at beautiful Cooling Castle Barn in Rochester. Wow! What a glorious setting for this romantic event. The rustic buildings and traditional gardens lend themselves wonderfully to wedding videography. Furthermore set any film maker’s heart beating with excitement.
Chloe & Trevor
Chloe was in the process of getting ready when I got there. I was able to admire her custom made dress as it hung by the window waiting to transform Chloe into a bride. First of all to film her and her six bridesmaids make their final preparations. Her father had tears in his eyes when he saw how dazzling his daughter looked. The ceremony was magical, with candles decorating the aged brick walls. Furthermore all highlighting the rustic charm of the timber beams in the barn’s ceiling.
Chloe’s handcrafted dress featured an elegant train that floated behind her as she glided down the aisle to Trevor. He certainly was being kept calm by his best man, Steve. One of my favourite parts of any ceremony is when the bride and groom see each other for the first time. Trevor couldn’t contain his delight and kept repeating how stunning Chloe was!
Wedding Vidography London
The touching ceremony perfectly summed up this couple’s strong love and commitment. All too soon it was over and it was time for the newlyweds to venture outside. This was to take advantage of the incredible grounds and countryside around Cooling Castle Barn. Furthermore which look fantastic when filmed in HD. The confetti shots were fabulous and it was great to see how happy Chloe and Trevor’s family and friends were for them. As a wedding videographer this is the fun time. The time when the couple are fizzing with the elation that they’ve actually done it and are now married, and their bridal party is relieved that their duties are over (or almost over, in the case of the best man) and it’s time to relax and celebrate.
The Celebration
Speaking of celebration, what an amazing reception it was! The barn was the epitome of romance with its aged wooden beams and soft candlelight set off by the stylish choice of flowers and decorations. The speeches were full of laughter and sentimental tears. Trevor’s was especially memorable for the number of times he remarked how beautiful Chloe looked in her dress, however as gorgeous as her dress was I think the most beautiful aspect was the way her face was lit up with love for her new husband. Chloe and Trevor chose Snow Patrol’s Chasing Cars for their first dance. Watching them through my camera lens it was clear to see that this is a couple deeply in love – they barely took their eyes off each other all day.
Even after nearly twenty years of experience I never tire of being asked to tell the story of a couple as they embark upon married life. I was delighted Chloe and Trevor chose me to film their special event and wish them every happiness.
